Getting here:

Hayman is private and exclusive, but it's also easily accessible from the rest of Australia and cities around the world. Flights operate into the Great Barrier Reef Airport on nearby Hamilton Island, or alternatively to the airports at Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast Airport) and Mackay. Onward transfers to the island are carried out by luxurious launch, helicopter or seaplane.

The island's luxury launch transfer from the Great Barrier Reef Airport offers guests a relaxing cruise, with time to admire the island views as they sail through the panoramic Whitsunday Passage. Helicopter transfers to Hayman are by the island's permanently based helicopter, and the 15 minute seaplane transfers operated by Air Whitsunday, offer en route aerial views of Whitsunday Island, Hook Island, Langford Reef and the final destination, Hayman Island.
