Airlie Cove Resort and Van Park - Whitsundays
Airlie Cove Caraven park is out of town to enjoy being positioned amongst the lush vegetation,so my recommendation is to catch a bus or taxi into town if you wish to do some shopping. Airlie Cove Caravan Park is pet friendly, so if you have them with you, they will feel very welcome.

Set in 28 acres of tranquil tropical paradise, the Airlie Cove Resort and Van Park has a variety of accommodation, from basic park cabins and tents to 4 star luxury villas. Located right next to the Conway National Park and Lucas Creek, you couldn't hope to find a more relaxing setting
Airlie Cove is tucked away from the road, so you won't have to wait long to see some of the local wildlife, including kangaroos, wallabies, goannas, possums, scrub turkeys and parrots. The park is a birdwatchers paradise, but it's also well positioned for those who prefer to watch out for bargains in the shopping precinct rather than the birds in the trees.
With an internet kiosk providing a welcome connection to those back home, a tennis court to practise your killer serve and a resort style pool to cool off in you can see how people could end up staying a lot longer than planned!
The park is set in beautiful landscaped grounds with the mountain looming in the backdrop. If you want to see the ocean the resort staff are more than happy to help you plan an unforgettable visit out onto the Great Barrier Reef and the surrounding Whitsunday islands.
There is a good reason Airlie Cove Resort has been awarded the 2010 Tourism Award, and the moment you arrive, surrounded by peaceful serenity in comfortable accommodation with your loved ones, you instantly understand.
