Toby Kroner
Whitsundays
From beautiful brides to incredible landscapes, and from amazing homes to stunning commercial work, Toby Kroner is an international award winning photographer whose work has been featured in publications by Cosmo Bride, New Idea, National Geographic, Intrepid Travel, and Lonely Planet.
A Whitsunday resident for over 20 years, Toby retuned to Airlie Beach in 2006 and has established himself as an industry leader in photography; providing imagery for clients both in Australia and internationally.
Weddings:
Images which capture the moment, whether that’s traditional style wedding photos or photos with a twist, Toby brings out the best in his subjects creating natural reactions and incredible pictures. Images of your day as you remember it, all the best moments, whatever they may be. Toby’s philosophy is “photography is not about how to turn someone into something that they're not...it's about showing the world how amazing they are...”
Exclusive wedding photographer for Hayman Island and Hamilton Island, Toby also travels as far as necessary, and that includes Daydream Island, Brampton Island, Long Island, Peppers Palm Bay, Hamilton Island, Whitehaven Beach, Airlie Beach, Bowen, Mackay, Fiji, Vanuatu, Cook Islands, or even to the ends of the earth. Just ask!
As a wedding photographer Toby provides uncompromising high quality in his pictures and his attitude, no matter what. He doesn’t count images, but shoots until he is satisfied that everything is ‘in the can’. You’ll find him up to his knees in water, covered in sand, up a tree or maybe even under your bed, but wherever you find him you’ll discover that he’s flexible and extremely down to earth, whilst always being professional.
Landscapes:
In his time away from Australia, Toby travelled the world taking unforgettable images and won the prestigious European Corbis ‘Behind the Lens’ competition in 2006, in 2010 his landscapes of Stonehenge were also featured by National Geographic. But as an Aussie, Toby loves nothing more than his Australian landscapes. For him, some of his most memorable moments have been taking a series of images based on the beautiful Whitsunday landscapes, and spending time in Australia's northern remote regions, living with an indigenous community in the Tanami desert.
Commercial:
Commercial photography doesn’t have to be boring; Toby applies the same principles to his commercial work as he does with his other clients - vision, professionalism and a keen eye.
If pictures paint a thousand words, Toby’s pictures tell stories. Stories of happy times and family get togethers, of the spectacular Australian landscapes and the world beyond, of new businesses and established ones.
