Description

Embark on an unforgettable 2.5-hour experience with Watersports Guru! This adventure includes 60 - 90 minutes in the water snorkelling alongside incredible marine life. With all gear provided - snorkel mask, fins, wetsuit and flotation devices - you can explore with confidence. Our expert snorkel instructors and in-water guides ensure a safe, enjoyable adventure, so you can fully immerse yourself in the beauty of Cook Island’s underwater paradise. Just a short 15-minute drive south from the Gold Coast Airport and a mere 600 meters off the shores of Fingal Headland lies the volcanic marvel of Cook Island. This captivating sanctuary hosts a permanent community of Green, Hawksbill, and Loggerhead Turtles, thriving amidst the vibrant tapestry of hard and soft corals that adorn the reef. Not to mention the dolphins, wobbegongs & come June-October, the magnificent humpback whales! Participants MUST be able to swim! However, no prior snorkel experience is required as our guides are qualified snorkel instructors. If you are joining us through the summer, please make sure you are aware of the NSW/QLD daylight savings time, as we operate on NSW time. Make sure to bring along your hat, sunscreen, swimmers, snacks (no bananas—ask our staff why), and motion sickness remedy if required.

  • Two tours run daily (weather permitting)
  • 8am-10:30am & 10:30am-1pm
  • Max 9 participants per tour
  • Swimming ability: You must confidently be able to swim the length of a 100m pool
  • No snorkelling experience required
  • This experience is not suitable for children under 6 yrs
  • Children 6–14yrs must be accompanied by an adult
  • Bookings cancelled due to poor weather conditions will be issued a full refund or the option to reschedule
