Snorkel with turtles at Cook Island on a small-group tour from the Gold Coast. Get close to in-shore bottlenose dolphin pods, and see humpback whales, gray whales, and southern-right whales on their annual migration. Just a short 15-minute drive south from the Gold Coast Airport and a mere 600 meters off the shores of Fingal Headland lies the volcanic marvel of Cook Island. This captivating sanctuary hosts a permanent community of green, hawksbill, and loggerhead turtles, thriving amidst the vibrant tapestry of hard and soft corals that adorn the reef. During the June-October season, watch the humpback whales breach through the ocean's surface or hear their whalesong underwater. Not to forget the bottlenosed dolphins that live along the coast in their large pods. Get close to in-shore bottlenose dolphin pods. Guarantee a turtle sighting of at least one of three sea turtle species: Green turtles, Hawksbill Turtles, and Loggerhead Turtles.
