Description

Experience where history and whale meet aboard Venture 111, we'll cruise beyond the islands and towards the whale highway, where the Indian ocean hosts the breathtaking humpback whale migration on their journey south to Antarctica. Departing from Rockingham's spectacular foreshore, Val Steet Jetty adjacent to the Cruising yacht club. Expect unrestricted views, luxury and sheltered seating, and a friendly, knowledgeable crew sharing fun facts and local stories as you search for the giants of the deep. We also honour the powerful legacy of the catalpa- a whaling ship once sent here both to hunt whales and to rescue men. Today, Catalpa Charters carries that history forward with pride and conservation at heart, capturing memories and creating our own epic tales- protecting these magnificent ocean travellers along the way.
