Meet your guide at the Shell Service Station in Rainbow Beach and board a 4WD vehicle.
Begin your journey with a ferry crossing to the island before cruising along the iconic 75 Mile Beach, known as K’gari’s sandy highway. Along the way, your experienced local guide will share stories, history, and fascinating facts about the island’s wildlife and natural environment.
Visit the famous SS Maheno shipwreck and hear the stories behind one of Australia’s most photographed wrecks. Cool off with a refreshing swim or float at Eli Creek, a pristine freshwater stream flowing directly into the ocean.
Continue inland to the breathtaking Boorangoora (Lake McKenzie), where you’ll have time to swim, relax on the white silica sands, and enjoy a freshly prepared Aussie lunch surrounded by nature.
Depending on tide and track conditions, explore the lush rainforest at Central Station and stroll alongside the crystal-clear waters of Wanggoolba Creek, one of the island’s most peaceful and ancient environments.
After a full day of exploration, return along the sandy tracks and beaches before catching the ferry back to Rainbow Beach.
