Description
Jump aboard a hot air balloon for a magical sunrise flight over the spectacular vineyards of the Hunter Valley. Take in the golden light over the hills behind Pokolbin, Lovedale and Rothbury. Then, celebrate the adventure over a gourmet breakfast and a sparkling wine at the Peterson House Winery.
Begin your morning with a pre-flight passenger safety briefing and a chance to help out with the inflation of the balloons. Next, you’ll take off into the skies above the Hunter Valley, admiring the verdant region from above as the sun rises over it.
After landing, you’ll make your way to the Peterson House Winery, home to an award-winning restaurant famous for its bubbly breakfast. Enjoy an à la carte breakfast over some sparkling wine to finish an unforgettable morning adventure.

Important Information
- Hot Air Ballooning requires some active participation from passengers and, as such, a minimum level of fitness and well being is required. Hot Air Ballooning is not suitable for anyone that has:
- Significant knee, hip, back or neck problems;
- Any other existing conditions that would preclude them from following the pilot's instructions, absorbing a small bump when the balloon is landing, or holding on to the safety handles when the balloon is landing
- Had surgeries or broken bones within the past 3 months; or are currently under a doctor's supervision regarding surgery or injury, regardless of when surgery or injury occurred;
- An individual weight in excess of 140kg
- Or is:
- Unable to stand for one hour unassisted,
- Currently pregnant or
- Less than 7 years of age
