  • Explore Falkland - an enchanting village brimming with charm

Description

We say goodbye to Edinburgh and head to the Forth Bridges Viewpoint, home to three iconic bridges—each distinct but complementing one another since 1890, 1964, and 2017. Next, we enter the Kingdom of Fife, passing rolling hills and fertile farmlands, before reaching the East Neuk ('East Corner' in Scots). Known for its scenic coastal villages and maritime history, we stop in Anstruther, a traditional fishing village. Wander the cobbled streets or stroll along the seafront to the harbor. We then visit St Andrews, Scotland’s oldest university town, famous for its golf course, cathedral ruins, and castle. We stop here for lunch, so you can decide how to spend your time. Next, we head to Falkland, a charming village with a royal palace and Outlander filming locations. Finally, we drive past Loch Leven, where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned, before returning to Edinburgh.
