Description

This will be an intense day of getting to know London's key museums and galleries, but intensely satisfying, too! The Victoria & Albert Museum offers a captivating collection of rooms that display sacred items from cultures of all the world in a grand and spacious building. We will start the tour here before journeying to Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery. After lunch, we'll visit the National Portrait Gallery and then finally, the British Museum. Through exploration of these impressive exhibitions, you'll learn about the history of the British Isles from BC millennia to the present day, as well as be taken away into other worlds by the art in the National Gallery and National Portrait Gallery. I'm excited to be your companion on this comprehensive gallery and museum tour! NB: As the museums and galleries are free to enter, my role is mainly as a companion and general Londoner's tourist support, so the fee advertised is for my companionship and for organising entrance tickets, as well as of course accompanying on transport and getting around. After visiting the galleries, if you want to stay on with me for the evening and walk around more, go to other places, we can arrange this on an ad-hoc basis.
