Description

Enjoy the coastal scenery at its finest–this tour follows the classic route along the coast in the morning, when the ocean views are bathed in the best natural light, which is often missed by the reverse route. Start the day with a nice morning in the chocolate factory, where you can grab a cup of coffee and it's good for those who don't have time for breakfast before departure. Visit the Split Point Lighthouse, known for its 'Red Hat', which has been guiding ships since 1891. Stop here to take in beautiful views of the coastline and learn a bit of maritime history. Stop at the Great Ocean Road Memorial Arch, which marks the start of the Great Ocean Road, commemorating the soldiers who built this famous route. Enjoy the eye-catching sea view at Lorne. Relax in the charming coastal village of Apollo Bay, where you can enjoy a meal (at own cost) with a stunning view of the sea. Head to an area near Barham Reserve, where you can take a peaceful stroll and spot koalas in the trees. Admire the famous limestone formations of the Twelve Apostles, standing tall in the Southern Ocean. Visit Loch Ard Gorge, known for its steep cliffs and tranquil beach, named after the famous shipwreck that occurred here in 1878. In the end we will include a hidden gem - London Bridge, another spectacular spot rarely covered by standard tours. Return to Melbourne around 8:00 PM, concluding your adventure.
