Description

Follow the story of London along the river that gave it life, exploring four of its most historic areas and most of its top landmarks with a fantastic local guide. We travel between areas in the best way possible - relaxing as we glide along the water by boat (Uber Boats by Thames Clippers day ticket included!) Meet your guide at the iconic Battersea Power Station and jump on the boat to sail into the heart of London. We’ll get off to walk by the top sights of Westminster (including Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament, Horseguards Parade and London Eye) then ride across the river to the Southbank (Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, Borough Market, London Bridge). See the Tower of London, then sail under Tower Bridge on the way to Greenwich, where we get off again to see the Cutty Sark, Old Royal Naval College, Queen’s House and more. We walk uphill to end the tour at the historic Royal Observatory, where you can see the Prime Meridian timeline and enjoy one of the best possible views across London. Travelling the River Thames east to west through the heart of the city, this is an incredible way to experience the many sides of London!

Important Information

• This tour involves around 4 hours of walking or standing, so please wear comfortable shoes and dress according to the weather conditions (the tour will go ahead rain or shine!). We will cover approximately 7 miles on foot. The route is mostly flat on paved surfaces and we will have some breaks during the boat journeys, but you should have a reasonable level of fitness. The final stop requires a short uphill section which may be difficult for some travellers, but you can opt out of this part if you prefer. Your included boat travel pass will be sent to electronically you before the tour. Please plan your journey to the start point and aim to arrive 15 minutes early. This is a group tour and boats run on a set schedule, so your guide cannot wait for latecomers and refunds cannot be issued for no-shows. Thanks :)
